Legal aid
If you need financial assistance to defend or pursue a claim, we
can advise you on the possibility of being granted Legal Aid.
If it appears you might qualify, we will help you put together an
application to the Legal Services Commission
(formerly the Legal Aid Board).
We hold contracts with the Commission for the supply of Civil legal
services, which means that our files and procedures are audited to
ensure that the service you receive meets prescribed quality
standards. Our contracts cover matrimonial and family matters,
and civil litigation.
